My name is Ryan. I’m an artist currently based out of Northwest Connecticut. I enjoy blending different artistic styles into my work, often balancing humor and horror, (two of my favorite things!).
I lean heavily on the styles of the lowbrow subculture of the 80s and 90s. The work I do today is proudly influenced by my upbringing; MAD Magazine, Garbage Pail Kids, cartoons, video games and many other toys and ephemera have shaped who I am and the work I do.
In 2007 I graduated from MassArt in Boston with a BFA in Painting. I’ve shown my work in and around Boston, NYC, Chicago, Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC.
